Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy explains how Amen Kaapi Private Limited handles personal information when you browse our website, place an order or contact us. Our business address and email are listed below.
Information we collect
- Checkout and orders: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, basket contents, order number, amounts, and delivery or refund status. Checkout currently uses your delivery address as your billing address.
- Payment records: transaction references, amount, currency, payment status and payment-method information returned by Razorpay, such as a bank name, UPI address or partial card information where supplied. These records help us confirm payments and handle refunds.
- Support: your contact details, messages, order references and any photographs or attachments you choose to send us.
- Technical information: our website and service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device information, request times and error logs when you use the site.
You can browse without creating an account. Ordering uses guest checkout; contact and address details are needed to process and deliver your order. Details submitted at checkout may also remain on a basket if payment fails or the order is not completed.
How we use information
- Maintain your basket, process orders, verify payments and arrange delivery.
- Send order confirmations, shipment updates and replies to your enquiries.
- Handle cancellations, returns, refunds, payment disputes and complaints.
- Prepare internal sales reports from order records.
- Investigate errors or misuse and protect the operation of the website.
- Maintain records required for accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. Providing details for an order does not subscribe you to promotional email.
Payments through Razorpay
Payments are processed through Razorpay's payment window. We share the transaction amount and reference, and your name, email address and phone number to prefill checkout and help process the payment. Payment credentials are entered with Razorpay, rather than in our checkout form. We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV, card expiry dates, PINs, payment passwords or OTPs.
Razorpay and the participating banks or payment networks handle the payment information needed for your selected method. Their processing, security checks and use of cookies are covered by their own policies, including the Razorpay privacy policy. Do not email us payment credentials or OTPs.
Who we share information with
- Razorpay and payment partners: to process, verify and refund payments.
- Courier and fulfilment providers: contact, address and order information needed to deliver and track your parcel.
- Email providers: Gmail for correspondence and Resend for transactional emails, including the recipient and message contents.
- Hosting and commerce service providers: to operate the website, store baskets and orders, and maintain the service.
We share information for these purposes and do not provide customer lists to other businesses for their marketing. We may disclose relevant records to professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations, investigate fraud or resolve a dispute.
Browser storage and external links
The storefront uses browser storage to remember a reference to your basket; the basket and any checkout details you submit are held by our commerce service. You can remove this reference by clearing the site's browser storage, which may reset your basket. This does not delete order or checkout records held on our systems.
The storefront does not currently use advertising or analytics pixels. Razorpay's checkout may use its own cookies or similar technologies. External links, including film credits and payment-provider links, lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Retention and security
We retain basket, order, payment and support records for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilment, refunds, disputes and applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements. Retention depends on the record and any outstanding obligation; deletion requests may therefore not remove every record immediately.
We use service providers and access controls to help protect customer information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data incident requires notification, we will notify affected people and authorities as required by applicable law.
Your choices and privacy requests
Email amenkaapi@gmail.com to ask about or request access to your information, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a privacy concern. Include your order reference where relevant, without sending payment credentials.
We may verify your identity before disclosing information or acting on a request. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law and explain any legal reason for retaining a record. If you choose not to provide details needed for an order, or withdraw permission needed to fulfil it, we may be unable to complete that service. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed or mandatory record retention.
Children and policy updates
Our ordering service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review it. We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change; the latest version and its update date will be available on this page. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain consent before using information for a new purpose.
